Fish
Before I begin to paint a fish I head to the fish department of my grocery store. I take photos and often buy the whole fish. The eye fades quickly so the subject needs to be as fresh as possible. Most of these fish are found in a restaurant called SoulFish in Memphis, Tennessee where they have been enlarged to nine feet! Very dramatic!
